for supporting the "Spokes of Hope" team, from
The Framing Edge, for the annual Healing Cycle Foundation
ride.
Thank you so much for your donation which helped us exceed
our fund-raising goal of $5,000. We received a total of
$7,605 in donations in support of the Palliative Care
Unit at Credit Valley Hospital.
Our cyclists, 15 strong, successfully completed their
pre-determined routes, ranging from 10 Km to 100 Km, on
a rainy, chilly morning.
We appreciate your generosity in giving to such a worthy
cause. Every contribution helps those who need the care
so much.

The Healing Cycle 2007
Congratulations Framing Edge Team!
On September 9th, 2007 you raised $3,913.00
for the Healing Cycle Foundation Ride in support of the
Palliative Care Unit at Credit Valley Hospital in Mississauga
Ontario.
We could not have done it without the generous
support of our clients, suppliers, friends and family.
Please let me introduce you to our Framing Edge Team.
Once again our team Captain was Karen Coull. This
is Karen's second time to ride 25 km for The Healing
Cycle. This is a perfect fit for Karen as she works
in the medical field and is an avid athlete. Karen
enjoyed the event so much last year she convinced
her family to participate this year.
Rod, Sharon, Stacey and Michelle
Morton all rode the 10km route. What a great family
outing.
We were honoured to have Mac McConnell
ride the 50km route. Mac finished the ride in a
record time as he is a personal trainer, and very
competitive.
Speaking of competition, we had a father-step son race on our hands. Alfred
Neill and Nathanael Taylor took to the 10km ride
with vigour. As much as Alfred had more experience,
as he was a competitive cyclist in his youth, Nathanael
had younger legs – I will let you guess who
finished first.
And to finish off the team roster, we have Matthew and Bronwyn James. This
father and daughter team rode tandem and conquered
the 10km route with ease.
The Healing Cycle announced that this year,
with the help of 330 riders, they were able to raised
a grand total of $167,000. This was a great community
event to be involved in. Congratulations to all.
The Healing Cycle
2007
Thank you Karen Coull for riding, on behalf
of The Framing Edge, in The Healing Cycle Event held on
September 10, 2006. Karen rode her bike 25 km to raise
$390.00 dollars for the Palliative Care Unit at The Credit
Valley Hospital.
On Sunday September 9, 2007, The Healing
Cycle will be having another cycling event. We are looking
for cyclists that would like to ride for The Framing Edge
Team. Please contact the store if you are interested.
